Civilization VI System Requirements

Civilization VI System Requirements

The game has fairly low system requirements so dudes with old systems(including me) will be able to run the game But the recommended requirements are somewhat high and the game is more CPU intensive. Also, the recommended ram is 8 GB.

Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 64Bit
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i3 2.5 Ghz or AMD Phenom II 2.6 Ghz or greater
RAM: 4 GB
HARD DRIVE: 12 GB or more
DVD-ROM: Required for disc-based installation
GRAPHICS CARD: 1 GB DirectX 11 Video Card (AMD 5570 or NVIDIA 450)

Recommended System Requirements

OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 64Bit
PROCESSOR: Fourth generation Intel Core i5 2.5 Ghz or AMD FX8350 4.0 Ghz or greater
RAM: 4 GB
HARD DRIVE: 12 GB or more
DVD-ROM: Required for disc-based installation
GRAPHICS CARD: 2 GB DirectX 11 Video Card (AMD 7970 or NVIDIA 770 or greater)

Other stuff required for installation is an Internet connection, Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 and Steam Authentication.

Comparing the games requirements with the previous version of a game we get to know that the recommended ram is double that of Civilization V. The game was also presented in Gamescom 2016 and it was pretty good. Civilization VI will have new features and probably what the system requirements explain the game is gong to be pretty awesome.

The special edition i.e anniversary edition of the game costs 90$ and is only very limited in stock as only 20,000 copies are available. The special edition comes with an Aztec civilization preorder bonus. And 25th-anniversary coins set.

The game releases on 21 October for PC. Do let me know your thoughts in the comment section below.
