Microsoft Edge is becoming more and more popular with time due to the user experience it provides resembling chrome that internet explorer wasn’t able to provide unfortunately. Even though Google Chrome uses a hell of  battery but its performance is also crazy. Microsoft did tell people about the battery life but the performance ratio isn’t defined anywhere.

As Microsoft said

You can simply browse longer with Microsoft Edge than with Chrome, Firefox, or Opera on Windows 10 devices.

But you will have to sacrifice your extensions and stuff. If you are looking to try out Microsoft Edge then you should keep in mind that it isn’t available for Andriod or IOS but it will still give you a good time. Microsoft did mention that it is going to improve more to increase battery live but it is sure that it will reduce some performance which Microsoft hasn’t mentioned but let’s see with time and hope for the best.
